Enjoyed Ecco the first time at a birthday party - organic, delicious, unique combos with a great crust, + offers a gluten-free option. Nicely done Ecco - we'll be right back :)

With all of the "one is exactly like the other" places in Allston to grab a slice, Ecco stands out with wood fired slices that use quality fresh cheeses & high quality meet and veggies. If you need more than a slice, then take home one of their innovative concoctions such as their Uova (bacon, eggs) or Fico (fig glaze, prosciutto, arugula, ricotta), or if you are the mood for some kick to your pizza, Diavolo (scotch bonnet peppers,capocollo, ricotta, & pineapple). Also, if you just need a quick lunch, they offer $4 for a slice & a salad.

Stay away from this place!They put pork in their pizza sauce, so the vegetarian pizzas aren't vegetarian (despite being advertised as such). This has happened to me three times, but I didn't realize it until last night (the first two times I shrugged off the taste as a fennel spice mixture, but last night I found actual pieces of meat under the cheese). To top it off, my dessert pizza had a large hair baked into it.When I called Ecco Pizzeria, they didn't pick up the phone (even though it was 45 minutes before closing), and the next day they refused to give me a refund. Stay away from this place if you have any expectation that your food won't be tampered with or if you think that you should receive a refund when you can't eat your order.

Good pizza however whether it's worth the higher price is questionable

If you like high quality ingredients and high prices, but an end result that equals that of Dominos and frozen pizza, then this is the place for you. Not even close to being worth the prices they charge.

Sweet deals on slices and sodas. Salads aren't too shabby either.

I work across the street from Ecco Pizzeria. The food is always fresh and they use the best/fresh ingredients. They recently gave me the wrong wrap and they brought me the correct wrap with no questions asked. Thank you for your great service and delicious food!

The pizza has a quality you can taste almost instantly. Staff is helpful and polite as well as the restaurant itself always being in pristine condition. The food is a little pricey but worth it.
